עשיתי את השלבים עם ה- commit - ומשום מה הוא לא הראה לי את השלב של מי אני ? איך זה יכול להיות ?

לגבי גיט ו VS Code:

לא הראה את השלב של מי אני - בהחלט ייתכן שכבר יש הגדרה כזו אצלך על המכונה. בהמשך הקורס יש שיעור על קבצי ההגדרות של גיט ושם תראה איפה הגדרה זו נשמרת (וכך תוכל לוודא שהיא כבר קיימת או לשנות אותה).

אני לא רואה ממה שהדבקת כאן מהי הפקודה שרשמת - יכולה לכתוב אותה גם?
על פניו נראה שלא רשמת הודעת קומיט

ואז הוא קפץ לשגיאה הזו:

ההודעה מגיעה בגלל ש git מפעיל עורך טקסט בשם vi כדי שתקליד בו את הודעת הקומיט.

לכל קומיט יש “הודעת קומיט” שהיא הטקסט שנשמר ליד הקומיט. הטקסט הזה הוא מאוד חשוב כי הוא מאפשר לך אחר כך להיזכר מה עשית בקומיט הזה. אפשר לקרוא קצת על הודעות קומיט מועילות יותר ופחות בפוסט שלי כאן:

עכשיו לשאלה שלך נשמע שלא הסתדרת עם עורך הטקסט שגיט פתח. אפשר בקלות להחליף את העורך ל nodepad למשל אם כותבים בשורת הפקודה:

git config --global core.editor notepad

אפשרות נוספת היא לדלג על עורך הטקסט ולכתוב את הודעת הקומיט ישר משורת הפקודה כשעושים קומיט:

git commit -m "my cool commit message"

למרות שבעולם האמיתי בדרך כלל נרצה לכתוב הודעות יותר מפורטות ולכן כדאי להשתמש בעורך טקסט נפרד.

כשאני לוחצת על מקש ימני אין אפשרות של git,
מה יכולה להיות הבעיה?

סגרתי את git bash,
ואז ראיתי את האפשרות git בפרויקט
